I grew up on a farm, which means instead of neighborhood kids, I had animals...and honestly, they were great company. Horses, barn cats, whatever needed care; I was there for it. I showed horses, worked at our local vet clinic, and pet sat for many local families. Safe to say, animals were always going to be part of my story. Then I married Evan (a man who loves farming just as much as I do...true love, right?), and together we built exactly the life we always wanted. A Tennessee homestead, a crew of cows, chickens, horses, and goats, two wild and wonderful daughters, and a kitchen that stays busy.

My love for animals pretty naturally grew into a love for growing and raising our own food. That love for food turned into a serious passion for cooking and baking. Now, everything we do here is rooted in that same simple idea: good food, good land, good family.
